How we are supporting our local community - Myeloma UK.
Each year in the UK, approximately 5,900 people are diagnosed with myeloma - a blood cancer arising from plasma cells. Myeloma mainly affects those over the age of 65 but has been diagnosed in people much younger.
Part of our charity raffle proceeds were dedicated towards this cause.
Myeloma UK's mission is held very close to us here at Linney. Two and a half years ago, Ruth found out that her mum was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.
“My mum received Chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, which allows her to have the best possible chance of keeping the cancer at bay for longer. My mum is now in remission and doing well.”

This year members of our animation team joined in with the community to flex their technical and creative muscles in this years Kinetic Rush challenge.
The challenge—to create a unique 3D render from the provided template—saw our animators get their creative juices flowing and expand their skill sets and animation experience at the same time.
With a chance to collaborate with over 3,000 creators around the globe, our team’s animations showcase the diversity of styles and animation techniques showcased in the competition.
Although the team didn’t make the prized 100 shortlist, they said they were “all proud of the high-quality work they created and that they’re looking forward to their next challenge”.
