A few of these popping up recently.

A totally deaf as a post sample on the bench

No RX, Terrible TX, Lots of not so great looking capacitors, all original 10v capacitors still present.......................xx.......................xx.......................
Replaced all 10v caps and any others that were located around our IF amp transistors and AGC section, in the hope of waking in the receiver.

No luck with that.
With a good strong 7.8Mhz LO signal into the first IF, Positive Carrier reinserted, good gain at 2nd and 3rd IF amps, TR10 (METER/AGC AMP) fed the signal to ground.

Replaced TR10
RX Sensitivity mod
Clarifier unlocked
Alignment
