The Best Connection Group – Manchester is currently recruiting 3 x Class 1 (Cat CE) Bulk Tipper Drivers for our client, a market leader based in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking job stability and a long-term role leading to permanent positions for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours

Guaranteed 45 hours per week
Monday to Friday: £16.30 per hour
Overtime (after 45 hours): £20.38 per hour
Saturday: £20.38 per hour
The Role

Driving a Class 1 (Cat CE) HGV bulk tipper vehicle
Delivering recycled materials across the UK
Regular nights out (tramping) in a sleeper cab (equipped with microwave & fridge)
Daily interaction with customers, maintaining excellent service standards
Flexible routes – no two days are the same


Ideal Candidate
Valid Cat CE (Class 1) licence
CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous bulk tipper experience is advantageous (training provided if not)
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
For insurance requirements you need to be:
25 years or older with a minimum of 1 years experience on your Class 1 Licence

We’re hiring for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client based in M32 .


Pay and Working times:
-£17 an hour (Min 8 hours)
-7:30 Start time

The Role:
-General haulage – varied loads
-Mixture of collections and deliveries
-Clean and well-maintained vehicles

Requirements:
-Minimum 2 year's Class 1 (C+E) driving experience(for insurance purposes)
-Must be 25 years or older (for insurance purposes)
-Good work ethic and reliability
-Sound knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices

This is a fantastic chance to secure a long-term role with the potential to go permanent, offering job stability, training, and development.

Hours – Rotating (4 on 4 off)

7am to 7pm (shift 1 & 2)

7pm to 7am (shift 3 & 4)

Rate:

£12.21 - £18.21ph

Once permanent your salary could go up to £31K

Higher hourly Rate achieved through overtime

The Role of the Job:

Ensuring Raw materials and packaging are available to ensure smooth running of production line
Following start up and shutdown instructions for the plant
Reporting of issues
Document control – data input and accurate reporting
Health and safety awareness for a food production area
Working as part of a team on a production line.
Quality checking the production process and the product.
Ensuring the correct PPE is worn for the Job Allocated
Working Rotating shift on a 4 on 4 off pattern
Requirements of the Individual:

Be able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
Must have worked as a Machine operative in food production to be successful in this role
Comfortable with Heavy lifting
Excellent attention to detail as reporting accurate data is essential
Be flexible with working hours and shifts.
Be available at short notice.
Good communication skills.
Excellent time management
Work well in a fast paced, high-pressured environment
You will be required to attend the office for induction and food safety training
