Kate O’Donnell, founder of Trans Creative and a long-standing performer, host, and activist, is lighting up Manchester Pride 2025. From opening the Rally to headlining Freight Island’s House of MCR finale, she’s reminding us all: visibility is resistance, joy is defiance, Pride is where we dig deep for each other.
Says Kate: “We’re being legislated against… the rug’s being pulled out from under us… It’s where we remind each other that we belong, and we’re loved.”

🎶 Queerissimo are hoping to start a new q***r orchestra (or potentially other ensembles). They are looking to give LGBTQ+ instrumental musicians the opportunity to play and socialise together. They'll be based in Manchester but are aiming to have a reach across the north of England.
