Our very own self proclaimed ‘Pocket Rocket’🚀

𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙
After finishing university in her hometown of Wi******er she went into a tele agent role selling loft insulation during the hottest summer in England 🥵 If that doesn’t show the saleswoman in her I don’t know what does 😂

She then landed a job in Estate Agency in Manchester but soon after took the plunge into recruitment to start earning more money💸

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩?
Short but sweet (one of these describes Ella 😂) she said:
‘If I told you there is a job out there in which you can speak to people, help them find a new role and then get paid thousands of pounds extra a month…what about that does not appeal to you?’
We can’t say we disagree🤷🏻‍♀️

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙬
Ella first started out as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and in just 3 short months hit her first Promotion🎉
She is a Consultant now but is so close to hitting her Senior promotion👏🏼

𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨
Ella’s highlights since starting at Higher Group include:
- Our team trip to La Plagne Skiing ⛷ (In particular Cam Matthews skiing down a red slope with his legs shaking like jelly😭)
- Day out at the races 🏇
And although we haven’t actually been yet, our team trip to Ibiza is already on her best moments list 🤩

𝙀𝙡𝙡𝙖’𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙞𝙥𝙨
Her top tips for anyone wanting to get into recruitment are:
1. GO FOR IT!
2. Interview at 3 different places and find out what you like and don’t like
3. One thing I always tell my candidates going into interviews is ‘you either are never going to see this person again, or if you do it means you’ve done well’
4. Be yourself and use your personality to professional advantages (‘I have…I don’t shut up and I never get off that phone’)
