Seniors Awards Evening

Last month our Seniors closed the door on their season with the Awards Evening hosted by 'Temu's Ant + Dec'.

As well as the traditional awards many new awards were introduced on the night referred to as the BAFTA's (Bongs Awards for Terrible Attributes)

On this post we will list the traditional winners but I think you can guess from the pictures what some of the 'BAFTA's awards were:

2XV Most Improved- Will Heathcote
1XV Most Improved- Owen Wear

Young Player of the Year- Sam Bradbury

Presidents Award- Aaron Gorton
Sportsman Award- Danny Bez

Club Colours- Adam Lewis, Ben Dicky and George Hutton

2XV Player of the Year- Adam Tierney
1XV Player of the Year- Paul Martin

2XV Players Player of the Year- Billy Knight
1XV Players Player of the Year- Blake Rullo

Last game of the seniors season as our 1XV welcome Bolton for an afternoon of rugby at Bongs HQ

Games earlier in the season between both sides have been entertaining and no doubt the same to follow tomorrow.

The weather is looking belting, the touchline is expected to be busy with the 30 Bob Club in attendance, plus many others expected to be down at St George’s Park for the last fixture of the season.

Usual admin guy on a sabbatical this weekend but the key facts are:

Saturday 25th April
Kick Off is 3pm
Bar will be open from 12pm
Kitchen will be open too.
The sun most likely will be shining

We enjoyed the weekday game so much last week, Aspull have agreed to come to Bongs HQ for another Wednesday night clash!

Our Mighty 2s welcome Aspull 3s for the final fixture of an interesting season.

A 6.30pm Kick Off with the weather looking fantastic!

If you can get down to the club, the lads will appreciate all the support! The bar will be open too!
