Well I don’t know what else to tell you other than I hate this weather 😂😩 The way this heat is melting our products and slowing our sales has me questioning my life decision right now.

We’re open 10-3pm or sell out and I’ll be putting an offer on our slices again, we can’t keep this up forever so make the most of it while it lasts.

Plus we’ll have these mini cookie dipping boxes available too and I’ve added some Lemon layer cakes to the website this evening if you want to come and grab some tomorrow! They will be on the shelf too!

We’re Hiring – Customer Service Apprentice 🌿

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our friendly team at Food & Thorn Bistro as a Customer Service Apprentice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in hospitality and customer service while gaining a recognised qualification.

✨ The role includes:
• Approximately 30 hours per week
• One day each week at Tameside College working towards your professional qualification
• Welcoming and serving customers
• Working behind the café counter
• Taking orders and preparing drinks
• Answering telephones and responding to emails
• Delivering excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day running of the bistro

This apprenticeship is ideally suited to someone under the age of 18, particularly a school leaver who is enthusiastic, friendly, reliable, and eager to learn.
