Hi, bit of background since I was a child I have had mental health struggles, periouds of burn out as an adult. Last year I was sent down pathway for ASD and ADHD. I didn't feel this was right, but a short time ago, I left my job. It was fast paced, stressful I managed a setting and large team and was constantly in meetings or learning etc but I enjoyed it and didn't feel like I had these conditions.

I left my job due to my children's needs, and I can see very specific traits that are now obvious to others also. I feel like I may have been masking due to high stress levels or always having to "perform" but I've worked all my life and never had the chance to relax until now, has anyone else had this?

I'm now struggling and appear to be stimming in social situations and less tolerant? Has anyone else experienced this ?

9yo ADHD Meds | Their Worlds Recently started my 9yo on Guanfacine and Melatonin. Had bad reaction to Guanfacine so stopped but dont want to try the stimulants dont like the ideo of them has anyone got input on meds?
