On international workers day celebration (organised by ) we marched along Palestine bloc together with comrades, trade unionists, youth groups, working class political organisations! A significant day to honour our deepest roots: solidarity, humanity, and class struggle, and the collective work to build a better world.

In the meeting in the historic Mechanics’ Institute we heard from achievements of trade unions and listen to the working class songs of struggle for liberation and heard from the history of Palestinian resistance shared by the pains and sacrifices of Palestinian workers and freedom fighters. Also heard from the vital works migrants workers in the UK and the hostile environment we face, our anti-fascist duties, and anti-imperialist stance concerning Iran, Cuba and other nations under attack!

We shared RRC’s vision of internationalism in class solidarity when imperialist wars are devouring the lives and livelihoods of masses in the global south; and on the meanings of working-class achievements in Iran and how interconnected our achievements and challenges are with what we experience in the global north.
We honoured all the workers in Iran who despite imperialist wars, extreme economic harshness and grievances, social unrest and political violence showed unbelievable courage and comradeship in solidarity and belonging countering extreme fragmentation, alienation, and destruction imposed by the hybrid US-zionist attacks on our society…From frontline responders in civil defence (fire-fighters, rescue & health workers, etc) to journalists, teachers, engineers, workers in strategic factories who defended their works and communities to the last minute under ongoing viscous air-raids.
We discussed the interconnected impact of imperialist wars and late capitalism on Iranian workers as well as British masses who also face inflation and recession while the UK ruling class participate in yet another aggression and criminal war on global south!
Our freedoms to Organise and to challenge bosses and rulers are our greatest achievements and responsibility to stand united against war and deal with the main enemy, here, in the imperial core.

We will join the Palestine Bloc for Manchester’s international workers’ day march.
Sunday, 3rd of May, 11 AM. Holt Town Tram Stop M40 7FQ

Palestine is the frontline of the international struggle against global capitalism, imperialist aggression, and colonial occupation! Palestinian cause is therefore the core of international class struggle and emancipation of subalterns!

After the march we’ll be at the social event at the Mechanics Institute to discuss the conditions of Iranian working class, resistance and solidarity in the face of US-Zionist reckless bombardment and economic warfare against Iran.
Hundreds of Thousands of jobs have been totally destroyed as a result of US-Zionist deliberate bombardment of Iran’s infrastructure. The cost of war-related damage has been estimated at around $300 billion by mid April and likely to be much higher. The ongoing military-economic hybrid pressure further threatens the livelihood, jobs, and the labour movements of working class for rights and liberation of workers in Iran.
The prolonged wartime conditions, a fragile and uncertain ceasefire, and the suffocating naval blockade imposed on Iranian ports by the U.S. army have led to unprecedented inflation plunging the lives and well-being of the masses into a state of endless anxiety.
We know that the UK is part of the regime of economic sanctions on Iran’s economy as well as military support for US-Israeli illegal war on Iran— the class unity demands abolition of wars and sanctions on periphery countries; the abolition of imperial sanctions, by the workers and for the workers!

The workers in Iran— from precarious labourers to port workers and those in the oil and petrochemical sectors— are bearing the highest burden of US-Zionist violations and losses of normalcy in their already reduced abilities to work, produce and socially reproduce.
Iranian workers, therefore, fight to defend the country’s infrastructure and to protect their rights against the neoliberal order, imposed poverty and all forms of exploitation and dispossession.
Join us in solidarity and resistance in Manchester’s International Workers day 🚩
(Sunday-3rd of May)

Revisiting our roots of solidarity and resistance we gathered in our community of comradeship and trust ()…to extend our hands of solidarity to Lebanon where our friends organise a powerful collective of mutual aids and to Iran where tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed. Under siege, sanctions and blockade millions of jobs have vanished and in lack of access to internet many independent homerun businesses face extreme crises.
Lebanon and Iran are inseparable in their fate and resistance just as Palestine is the heart of our region and our world. We are glad to be part of a bright night of solidarity, poetry, music, reflection, mutual aid, food, art, embroidery and stories from across communities which are so brutally erased from regimes of representation and recognition; undocumented children in Iran who resist marginalisation through their native art and grassroots communities, suburbs of Beirut and southern villages of Lebanon, which are the frontlines facing Zionist aggression and western dehumanisation, and 168 little children of the city of Minab, Shajar-ye Teyyebeh school, who were not only slaughtered along with their teachers by the U.S. direct missile strike in a so called “double tap” war crime, but also erased and censored by those who claim “freedom” through imperial manipulation of lives and livelihood of the subaltern communities in our homelands.

We commemorate all of them with our local communities and continue to reflect on the lives of great women like the Lebanese martyr of truth -Amal Khalil- and Iranian nurses who were saving as many newborn infants as they could while their hospital was collapsing under the heavy bombardment of the Israeli genociders.
We listened to lively folk music by great as well as songs of resistance from Palestine, Lebanon and Iran and are determined to use such moments of solidarity to make our connections stronger and to continue to defy dehumanisation and idolisation as our peoples face intensification of imperialist aggressions.

Solidarity from Manchester to Lebanon, Palestine and Iran!
