Castlefield Recruitment are working with a one of England’s largest healthcare services to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer.

No two days will be the same in this role, with a host of responsibilities spanning over electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating/air ventilation and building tasks.

Duties include:
🔹Ensure all PPM and repair works are completed in line with contract SLAs.
🔹Safely operate and maintain HVAC, HV, L8, mechanical, and electrical systems onsite.
🔹Maintain strong working relationships with site representatives.
🔹Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and issue Permits to Work.
🔹Adhere to safe systems of work

This role is ideal for someone with an Electrical qualification and prior mechanical knowledge/experience to provide support across the hospital’s sites.

New insights from Supply Chain Digital highlight a widening vulnerability across supply chains, with 43% of businesses experiencing a cyber breach or attack in the past year.

With attackers increasingly targeting third-party suppliers, limited visibility remains a critical risk, with only 15% of organisations assess immediate supplier risks, and even fewer look beyond that.

Caroline Shafar and Charlotte Nuttall of Ward Hadaway will be leading our Mock Tribunal event on 9 June.

With over 35 years’ combined experience, they bring a wealth of knowledge from working across both the public and private sectors.

Caroline is a Partner at Ward Hadaway, specialising in employment law, with an established reputation across the NHS and primary care sector. She supports HR teams and senior management on employment strategy, as well as complex, high‑value litigation up to the Court of Appeal.
