When Martin Stephens said they were after something colourful, I knew I was going to enjoy playing around to see what we could create. Seeing his Liverpool top made me want to play off the rich red it carried to bring him to life.

Been meaning to post this capture of Conzo for a while as I absolutely love the result.

Inspired by classical Chiaroscuro artists such as Carvaggio we played with obscurity and high contrast in our dark and lights to create something different for the studio while maintaining our faithful nod to colour in the work.
