I am such a huge advocate of building at least some strength training into your schedule, as it has such wide ranging benefits.⁠

For some of my clients it makes up their whole training routine. 2-4 sessions a week. ⁠

For others (sportspeople/ those who love their cardio) it is once a week top supplement their running/HIIT/football training.⁠

The two 'Unlikely results' mentioned above are concerns I often hear from newcomers and predominantly from women. ⁠

Ladies - I can't stress this enough - the rate at which you put on muscle is so depressingly slow (largely due to lack of testosterone) that bulking up is literally the last thing you should worry about.⁠

Get out there. Lift some weights. I promise you won't regret it.⁠
