Hi 👋 I'm Jess (she/her), the main face behind FOUR P4WS 🐶 You may have already spotted me solo dog-walking in and around Ancoats + New Islington!

I've been dog walking and pet sitting professionally since I was eigtheen. Since then, I've committed myself to providing gold-standard pet care. With an undergraduate science degree in The Psychology of Human and Animal Behaviour (Hons) and a diverse range of hands-on experience (rescue kennels, catteries, large-group daycare, small working farm, rabbit shelter and farm animal sanctuary), FOUR P4WS truly provides exceptional care. Excitingly, I am also set to start studying a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour this year 📝 Bringing the latest science to benefit your pet's care! Pets are not simply "looked after" or "walked" by us, but listened to, understood, helped to feel secure and enriched.

With lifelong personal experience of sharing my home with guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, hamsters and dogs, I understand how difficult it can be to leave their care in someone else's hands. Your pet will receive compassionate, responsible care, while you recieve regular, honest updates with pictures/videos at every booking. We hope that through our extensive experience and proven commitment to on-going learning, FOUR P4WS will be care you can trust.

We are proudly available to care for all commonly kept pets (🐶🐱🐰🐹🦜) and will happily cater our services to their individual needs. ✨️💕Bean appreciation post✨️💕

(Prompted by her scaring my family a few weeks back with a sudden [expensive] back injury. She's only eight, just a s̶e̶n̶i̶o̶r̶ baby 🥺 She seems much more comfortable now, thankfully!

I joke a lot saying Bean is the "perfect, unicorn dog", because being with her anywhere, always felt so gosh darn "easy". But I think really, she is simply a soulmate 🩷 Forever grateful we decided to find Fraser a sister. Keep being a lil weirdo Bean, we love you)
