The History:
🌹'Rosie the Riveter' was the cultural symbol of women who worked in factories and shipyards during WWII.
👨As men joined the services, women stepped into jobs that had traditionally been done by men; building aircraft, ships, tanks, trucks & munitions.

'Rosie the Riveter' became popular in 1942 due to a patriotic song of the same name - and Naomi Parker Fraley (1921–2018) who was widely believed to have been the real woman whose photograph inspired the iconic poster that later became an international symbol of female empowerment.
