We are chefs who grew up in Italy and met at the Michelin-starred Locanda Locatelli in London. We thought the quality of ice cream in the capital could be better, so we decided to do something about it. On February 30th every year, the World Gelato Scooping Championship takes place at the luxurious Richmond Hill Hotel. Contestants are marked on the quality of their spoonmanship, precision of scoop and aesthetic artistry.
Here you can see last year’s winner scoring an impressive 9.6 out of 10 by completing a never-before-seen triple twist, tuck & scoop with our very own Rich Chocolate, Lemon & Raspberry sorbettos.

Our Madagascan Vanilla gelato is often employed to test the structural strength of desserts. Here you can see a wild berry fruit bake laden with three heavyweight scoops of the good stuff, performing admirably and showing minimal signs of foundational damage.
