🚨 Son Dakika: Birleşik Krallık'ta mülteciler ve iltica sistemiyle ilgili önemli gelişme

İngiltere İçişleri Bakanlığı (Home Office), 2026 sonbaharından itibaren yürürlüğe girmesi planlanan yeni bir Topluluk Sponsorluğu (Community Sponsorship) programını duyurdu.

📌 Buna göre;
• Üniversiteler, topluluk grupları ve işletmeler artık mültecilerin (refugees) Birleşik Krallık'a güvenli ve yasal yollarla gelmesine sponsor olabilecek.
• Model, Kanada'da başarıyla uygulanan sisteme dayanıyor ve sponsor olunan mültecilerin yaklaşık %70'i ilk yıl içinde istihdama katılıyor.
• Amaç, mevcut iltica (asylum) yollarındaki eksiklikleri güvenli ve yasal bir başvuru seçeneğiyle desteklemek.
• Başvuru sahipleri için güvenlik soruşturmaları ve sıkı uygunluk kriterleri uygulanacak.

👨‍👩‍👧 Aile birleşimi (Family Reunion) konusunda ise yeni kısıtlamalar planlanıyor:
• "Aile" tanımı daraltılacak.
• Sadece "çekirdek aile" kapsamda olacak.
• Geniş aile bireyleri ve yetişkin çocuklar aile birleşimi hakkından yararlanamayacak.
Fakat şu anda kapalı olan aile birleşimi rotasının detayları paylaşıldığında sizlere ileteceğiz.

⚠️ Önemli: Bu değişiklikler henüz yasa haline gelmedi.

I went directly from Level 1 to Level 3 of IAA regulation, the highest level at which immigration advisers can be regulated in the UK.

It wasn't the easier path. It meant carrying the full scope of immigration law, from initial applications through tribunal advocacy, into a single exam. Hundreds of files. Late nights with statute books. No social life for months. Studying through evenings I had already given to clients. And sitting the exam itself through a proctoring fault and the anxiety that came with it.

But I had something on my side. Years at a British Consulate with UKVI in assessment and verification. Time at firms doing casework and observing. The journey between those two desks has shaped everything about how I practise.

What carried me through it wasn't ambition. It was the clients. Families trying to reunite. Workers building lives here. People who had been carrying the weight of wrong advice given to them for years. Each one reminded me why this matters.

Today I'm confirmed as accredited at IAA Level 3.

What this means in practice: Point B Legal can now represent clients across the full breadth of immigration matters, including First-tier and Upper Tribunal appeals and Asylum Claims as well. The same adviser, from first consultation to final hearing. The same care, all the way through.

To everyone who has trusted me with their case, their family, or just a difficult question, this is for you.

"I Have a Skilled Worker Visa, Which Visas Count Towards ILR? Which of them can I combine for 5 years residency?"

I receive this question very often. If you are on a Skilled Worker visa and planning for ILR, understanding what counts towards your 5 years is crucial.

You can combine Skilled Worker time with time on several other work visas but not all.

Here's what counts:
Any combination of these visas can be added together toward your 5-year ILR requirement:
Skilled Worker, Health and Care Worker, or Tier 2 (General)
Scale-up Worker
Tier 2 Minister of Religion
Tier 2 Sportsperson or International Sportsperson
Innovator Founder
Global Talent
Representative of an Overseas Business
Most Tier 1 visas (except Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur)

What to do:
Calculate your qualifying time carefully, don't assume
Plan your visa switches strategically
Track your days outside the UK
Get professional advice before switching routes, one wrong move can reset your clock

If you're on a Skilled Worker visa and have been on other qualifying work visas, you might be closer to ILR than you think.

The key is understanding the rules and timing your application correctly.
