π₯π₯π The Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance - This tradition, alive for 140+ years, fascinated us as filmmakers. It's a cultural spectacle like no other, whether you're a spectator or participant.π₯π₯π
In 2021, we documented the painful cancellation of the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance for the second consecutive year due to pandemic restrictions. For these community members, the Dragon is an integral part of their identity, passed down through generations.
Now, with the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance returning, weβre thrilled to share our documentary βThe Missing Dragonβ. It's a tribute to the resilience of the Tai Hang community.
To those in Hong Kong, we urge you to witness this unique tradition. Better yet, become a part of it next year. It's a fantastic cultural experience. (Fun fact: Hugh Jackman was once invited as a special guest at the 2015 Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance)

A little about DEFYβs Game World:
DEFY is a new awesome move-to-earn AR game based on a near future dystopian world, where an evil corporation, Future Systems, has amassed power that a dictator could only dream of. Privacy and individuality are relics of a bygone era. We are reliant on Future Systems to provide the necessities of life that governments used to control - health, education and money. Future Systems has a mole (Kha0s), an inside man who wants to bring the whole system down from within. Using a hacked version of the Future Systems mobile client, crafted by Kha0s, operatives can utilise backdoors in the Future Systems network to bring them down.

SCENE 852 Presents [Dream state in the city] Collection #1: A photographic series of finding small moments of altered consciousness that can be perceived as a dreamlike form of escapism in the city.
π₯π³οΈβπ Check out the latest video we did with Mox Bank! This month we sat down with Charlz Ng (Co-founder of Hybrid Group & House of Fitness, Gay Games Volunteer) and spoke about learning to be true to himself through his coming out journey. Through this conversation, we discussed about the path towards acceptance and tolerance for the LGBTQ+ community as well as the future of where the movement may be heading towards.
It was a very insightful and inspiring experience for SCENE 852 to hear his story! We are grateful for Charlz for sharing such a personal story and letting us document it ππ»
