One of the most interesting things about the UK market is the NEC contract.
They've actually done it. A contract that effectively fosters collaboration between owners, designers, and contractors. This was amazing to us.
So you can imagine just how honoured we were when Glenn Hide of GMH Planning awarded ShapeDo with the Built Intelligence NEC People "Innovation of the Year" award last night!
Ari Isaacs flew out to accept the award, and meet some great people who are truly interested in making construction win-win and not zero sum.
Meanwhile, we're already hard at work equipping our system with everything it needs to facilitate NEC contracts, in the hope that we too can play a significant role in this outstanding endevour!
