Do you know what the most important part of my day is? It’s not what you think!!!!
It comes before everything I do. It helps me to keep on track, not just with my workout but with my joy, happiness, nutrition, stress and life in general!!!!
And that thing that does all this for me ...
..IS GRATITUDE 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve practised gratitude for a long time but recently I’ve been practicing it everyday with the help of a special journal. Each page is a new day and you can write down what you’re grateful for that day and what could make that particular day great. In the evening you can repeat the process about what you were grateful for that day and what made that day great. It also has a spot for your daily affirmation, your mantra for that day, your ‘I AM’ statement.
Now I’m not saying that you should do this too but what I can say is that when I practice gratitude in this way life always seems brighter, I can always see the positive in all situations and I genuinely don’t feel stressed when I’m doing it which makes me happier and that’s what we all want isn’t it, to feel happier.
So tonight, before this new week starts consider starting to practice gratitude in the mornings before you do anything, it literally takes 5 minutes and that’s why my journal is called The 5 Minute Journal, but you can use a notebook and just write down 3 things you are grateful for and a simple mantra for your day ...
.. try it for a week, this week and share how it makes you feel.
