My Nani passed away this morning… My Nani, who would sing Hindi songs with me as a little girl… my Nani, who I would walk with to the corner store in Suriname, who I would pray with (Hawan) throughout my childhood… who would tell me off for wearing belly tops when I was a teenager and coming home waaay too late…. My Nani flew all the way to London to perform my Hindu wedding ceremony (she was a Hindu priest)… I’ve never shared pics publicly of my wedding day… here she is (second picture) ready to bless us with her beautiful words and songs… she loved seeing me in my sari on my special day…. Rest in Peace Nani! 🌷

I asked Rosie what her favourite trip of the year was and she said Zambia! And I realised that I never posted our family pictures…. Here are some of the lovely memories we made… more coming in my next post

What an honour to be invited to Cambridge University’s Homerton College for their reception and formal dinner.

, Principle of Homerton College, welcome special guests including RT. Hon. Dianne Abbott MP, Baroness Patricia Scotland KC and many others.

It was a wonderful evening that I was very thankful to be apart of and go meet many of the inspiring guests and students who will pave the way in years to come.

Nothing greater than a simple London day at the National Gallery, lovely patio lunch with your bestie and lots of giggles. 🩷
