Our colleagues were delighted to celebrate Cayman Islands Constitution Day at the Speaker's House last Monday.
The occasion marked the anniversary of the Cayman Islands' first Constitution, introduced on 4 July 1959—a significant milestone in the Islands' journey towards self-governance. It also commemorates the introduction of universal adult suffrage, including women's right to vote, and provides an opportunity to reflect on our shared democratic values and enduring partnership with the United Kingdom.
We were honoured to be part of an evening of conversation, culture, and connection. Thank you for the invitation Cayman Islands Government Office UK

Today, our In-Work Support Service team hosted their very first In-Work Support Information Session!
The session gave attendees an overview of how Action on Disability supports both employees and employers from the very first day of employment, helping people build sustainable, long-term careers.
We were delighted to welcome young disabled people preparing to start work, parents, carers, appointees, employers, employment advisers, colleges, and referral partners.
During the session, attendees learned about:
• How Access to Work funding works
• The support Action on Disability provides during the first 26 weeks of employment
• The referral and application process
• The benefits of our service for employers
• How our support helps people thrive in long-term employment
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first session such a success. We look forward to hosting more In-Work Support Information Sessions in the coming months!
