In his village near Herrenberg only one AED is available, unfortunately not close enough to grab it in time. He decided it was time to make an AED available 24/7 for his neighborhood. Police officers in Vienna Austria have saved the life of a 56-year old person by performing timely CPR and administrating a shock with the Philips HeartStart AED.

Die beiden Funkwagenbesatzungen eilten zu einem 56-Jährigen, der in seiner Wohnung zusammengebrochen war. Mit vereinten Kräften führten sie eine Herz-Druck-Massage durch und legten den Defi an, sodass der Mann zurück ins Leben geholt wurde. Der eintreffende Rettungsdienst übernahm und verbrachte den Patienten in das Krankenhaus. Gratulation!
