Dogs Trust

Rossi was found as a stray. He came into our care frightened, unsettled and in need of our help to make him feel safe again.

Since coming into our care, Rossi has needed ongoing veterinary care too, including x-rays to investigate a persistent cough, medication and careful monitoring.

After 1000 days of waiting, Jethro now enjoys all the home comforts he deserves 💛

Jethro started his journey with us as a stray, arriving at Dogs Trust Darlington. Although he had some interest, it never worked out long term. In October 2023, he was transferred to Dogs Trust Leeds

The training team worked on building his confidence around other dogs which eventually resulted in him making many doggy friends at the centre! Even with all Jethro’s newfound training skills, he couldn’t seem to find the right match. But then, towards the end of 2024, along came Paul and Emma. They dedicated the time to getting to know him and soon Jethro was ready for his next adventure.

“Adopting Jethro has been quite the journey! He’s a wonderful dog to have and he’s loved by everyone in our family. We knew it would take time and patience to get him through the settling in period...now we have this incredible, playful, affectionate do**us permanently in our lives. She may be small, but Holly has bundles of personality 💛 She'd like a calm household with a family who take things at her pace. She would be happy to live with a calm dog- though this is not essential. She loves the luxuries of life, particularly being pampered.

It was love at first sight when Leo's adopters spotted him on our website. His adopters drove across the country to meet and adopt him from Dogs Trust Ilfracombe 💛

While in our care, Leo enjoyed all the home comforts of foster life. He loves long walks, meeting other dogs and getting lots of attention. He looks like he is loving life in his forever home.
