It is quite common for people to misconstrue a dark and textured vocal timbre with a limited vocal range. However it is possible to have a wide vocal range combined with a dark and sonorous vocal tone (chest and mixed voice), which can then lift into sounding more vibrant and solid in the upper vocal registers (head voice). 🗣️
