Our figure-skating star Emma sat down with us to share her story so far which has seen her win multiple medals on ice 🏅 and move half way across the world to “cultivate the life she has always dreamed of” 🇺🇸 💫

Meet Pierre Tang-Taye, Former pro volleyball player, NCAA and Top England League athlete 🏐

After completing his Bachelors degree in Business Administration and graduating from Barton College in the US, Pierre went on to complete a Masters at Durham and is now working as an Inside Sales Associate at a leading Fintech! We at TTP caught up with him to see how he’s enjoying his role, and what advice he would give to other athletes considering a career alongside sport, here’s what he had to say:

“One thing I love about my role so far is definitely the people I am surrounded by. Most of them are former athletes which makes them relatable, but they are also genuinely great people! They support me in continuing my volleyball career and have made me feel so welcome!”

“The one piece of advice I have for other athletes looking to career transition is to find something they enjoy. Don’t compare yourself with other people as everyone has a different path. Find the things you enjoy, the things you are interested in and then you’ll find an industry where you can thrive!” 💫
