at the highest levels of touring car and endurance racing. The team began operations in July 2013, with James, Ben and Carl joining forces to create Spartan Racing Motorsport. We have over 25 combined years of racing experience in go karting levels, and a wide variety of experience in high performance vehicles, both off road and on track. Combined with our technical knowledge and ability, we collectively made the decision to step up to full time racing, starting with the MSV Trackday Trophy. Our short term targets are to develop and test the car throughout 2014, with a full season of racing scheduled for 2015. Our research led us to conclude that the best choice of vehicle to enter this competition with would be the Ford Fiesta Zetec S, which was purchased early 2014. Having seen the potential within our team, Weightlifters Gym in Walthamstow became our first partnership, providing excellent health and fitness facilities for our team members and assisting us with driver fitness, in pursuit of our drivers being able to yield maximum performance out of the car and ourselves. More partners are to be confirmed soon, and others are always welcomed.
