In a bid to keep more of the hair than I break off, these are the steps I’m taking.
I’m going back to the basics.
It’ll also make maintenance easier.
My hair is nicely sectioned, and each section has preserved partings within it.
If I want to twist my hair, I can simply reuse the sections I have.
For more texture, I can rock a braid out.
For creativity, I’m using accessories like this headband.
P.S. Curious about scalp care? I’m in the very early stages of developing something. DM me SCALP to stay in the loop and follow the journey.

Ok so there are a few new faces here so I thought today that I’d introduce myself for those of you who don’t know too much about me OR for those wanting to know more, so here goes!
Here are 5 things it’s important you know about me!
Background: Molecular Biology MSc ( & ); Trichology (College of Trichological Science & Practice; Trichocare; World Trichology Society); English Teaching ( CELTA); coaching (ongoing)
My why: I’m motivated by others’ and my own learning and growth, and obsessed with hair science 🧬
Helping you build confidence through your relationship with your hair allows me to nerd out on productivity, mindset, self-development, hair fibre chemistry, hair follicle biology, cosmetic science, creativity, course creation, curriculum design, nutrition and more! Plus I get so much gratification from seeing your transformation.
My favourite thing about what I do: getting to meet with inspiring people all around the world 🌍 clients, mentors, coaches, doctors, hair biologists & chemists, nutritionists, pharmacists, other trichologists and how much learning happens every day!
I also get loads of satisfaction from seeing your perception of your hair transform through our work together.
A question I always get asked: “have you always had long hair?” Big fat NO! I too used to think I didn’t have the right “genetics” for it. 🙄
Something you may not know about me: I’m obsessed with languages - I speak Spanish, German, and some French and Dutch, along with Trini Creole & some basic Jamaican patois (mainly from listening to dancehall music).
