Yesterday was the penultimate rd of the East Midlands winter league it was fished at March , the Old Nene 80 pegs, the river had quite a bit of colour and had flow on it all day but it fished really well with some good weights from unfancied area’s
On the team front Hotrods put in a top performance to win the day with 28 pts
with a tie for second place on 34 pts between Tackle & Bates and Matrix Image but
once again we’re beaten on section count back 3 - 2 it’s getting to be an habit !
Which means we are still in 1st place in the league but tied with Hotrods on 11pts
followed by Tackle & Bates 16 pts. Cresta Peterborough 17 pts these are the main teams for the qualifying positions with still a mathematical chance for Stanjay Gold 20 pts . Two good section wins by James Drakulic 36- 6 -0,Gary Miller 31-12 -0 who finally drew a peg for a change,Paul Cowern was 4th overall with 40- 9-0.On the individual front.Ian ( slim) Reynolds Browning Hotrods 50-2-0,Dave Turner Stanjay silver44-5-0

Sorry for late post, I’ve been away for a few days and only just back to iPad, last Sunday Matrix Image fished the 3rd round of the E/Midlands winter league on
the R.Nene around Peterborough, the river was fining down after the previous week’s deluge. On the individual front Matrix Image had the winner in James Drakulic
45-4-0 of bream & a tench and in 5th place Damian Green with a credible 15-15-0 of silvers.
On the team front we won the
Round aided by section wins from
Gary Miller, Paul Cowern, James
Drakulic, this result meant
because of Hotrods hiccup
we are now tied for 1st place with 3 rds to go overall
On the day- M/image 29 pts Cresta Peterborough 31,
Stanjays Gold & Hotrods 37
Stanjays on section wins,
Tackle & Bates 38
