The dolly zoom is one of those shots everyone recognises, whether they know its name or not.
Made famous by Steven Spielberg in movies such as Jaws, it’s been messing with people’s sense of perspective ever since.
So when we found ourselves setting up just a couple of metres away from Spielberg at the launch of Disclosure Day, it felt surreal to say the least.
No pressure then.
A quick bit of camera trickery, a few practice runs, and thankfully it came together in the end. 🎥
