Electrical Safety First
Electrical Safety First is the UK charity dedicated to reducing deaths and injuries caused by electrical accidents. Our aim is to ensure everyone in the UK can use electricity safely.

“I could see just as the smoke cleared, that there was another person still stuck at the top of the townhouse”
Fire and rescue services witness firsthand the devastating impact e-bike battery fires can have on homes and families.
We’re proud to have support from organisations working in fire safety, protection and prevention, including fire and rescue services across the country, as part of the Battery Breakdown campaign.
Their frontline experience responding to these fires, alongside the growing national incident data and evidence they help collect, reinforces the need for stronger product safety measures, including independent third-party certification of e-bikes batteries.
