10 practical things I’ve done that have made my 2026 feel a little easier already, and have also make me feel that I have accomplished something! ✨✌🏼

Doing a vision board at the start of the year always feels a bit overwhelming and I really like to sit and really think about what I want to put on there. In the meantime, having a clean out, booking some appointments that are for my health and generally trying to clear my space, give me a good grounding to build on for those goals. I might not have my full list of goals for the year until February but I’ll also be free of clutter and healthy!

Never let it be said that this girl doesn’t do her bookish homework before a cinema visit! 🎥🍿🎬

In honour of Hamnet being released in UK cinemas this week, I thought it was about time to read the book that’s been sat on my bookshelf for over 2 years! It was a beautifully tragic story which deals with a type of grief that nobody should ever have to bear. I was mesmerised by the writing - Maggie O’Farrell’s imagined Stratford upon Avon jumped off the page and I was captivated by the story of the flea. Utterly brilliant. 4 stars from me as it think it gets much slower in the second act, but this was a great first read of 2026.

Fun fact, my dad lived behind Anne Hathaway’s cottage for while… and when I say behind, I mean RIGHT behind… like, you could see it from his garden… the hills they talk about walking up, the farmland they talk about farming, all places I’ve literally stood! Wish I’d read this sooner because it is the most beautiful book!
