We are an inclusive theatre company and our mission is to provide a vibrant, creative and informal atmosphere where members come together, share ideas and produce exciting theatre in an inclusive environment. The charity consciously seeks to engage and educate disadvantaged children and young people who oftentimes find it difficult to access arts activities.

WHO ARE HACKNEY SHED?
Hackney Shed is an inclusive performing arts group for young people established in 2001 with the support of Chickenshed.
Hackney Shed seeks to advance appreciation of and participation in the performing arts, and to develop social inclusion skills and community cohesion, particularly for the benefit of children and young people in Hackney and surrounding areas.
