SOCOD Holiday Tech BOOTCAMP: Week #1 Update!

The Holiday TECH BOOTCAMP organized by SODEI and CODAM Technologies in partnership with UNDP, the Limbe City Council, ANTIC and others, is ongoing at SODEI Tech Hub in Limbe. So far, trainees have been undergoing training on basic electronics - introducing them to the circuit components including battery, wires and board. The sessions taught them how to mount a basic circuit comprising of a battery, board wires and LED bulb.

Other topics covered in the first week of training included an introduction to programming - initiating learners to programming terminologies such as variables, Constance and operators. These also ushered trainees into problem-solving through critical thinking giving the possibility of applying both logical and rational reasoning to their actions.
