Blütenschale (Blossom Peel), 2025 by Pia Krajewski Pia Krajewski is a work composed of three hanging silk scrolls painted with mineral pigments. Drawing from her archive of everyday photographs, Pia Krajewski creates forms that hover between the organic and the imagined, evoking petals, textures, or architectural fragments without settling into a fixed identity. The use of silk and mineral pigments introduces a different material quality to the work, as the absorbent surface requires a precise application of pigment and emphasises the translucency of the support.

Set at the threshold of a constructed landscape, two figures pause before an architectural folly—caught in a moment suspended between hesitation and inevitability. The scene unfolds through quiet tension, isolation, and doubt, where certainty slowly begins to dissolve.
