More 1960s Can-Am era-inspired car design – this time from McLaren itself, specifically from the firm's Special Operations division, which has recreated Bruce McLaren’s initial concept for a road car derived from the M6A racing car. The one-off M6GT is finished in a unique cream-white colour called 'Colnbrook', which pays tribute to the factory where Bruce had been working on his road car design. It has reportedly been built using original body moulds and authentic materials from McLaren’s historical archives. The vehicle also includes a period-correct engine and gearbox, with a small-block Chevy V8 featuring ‘camel hump’ cylinder heads, in line with the original design. The road-going M6GT was a supercar Bruce McLaren was developing before his untimely death...
