We recently completed a side return extension of a London cottage.

Nestled in the charming Queens Park Estate Conservation Area of Westminster, this quaint once an Artisan cottage underwent a remarkable transformation, breathing new life into its once-limited living spaces. The key to this transformation? A meticulously designed side return extension that seamlessly blends modern functionality with the cottage's traditional character.

Before:

The original kitchen, confined to a narrow corner of the house, felt cramped and lacked the natural light so essential for a welcoming living space. Storage options were limited, and the overall layout failed to capitalize on the cottage's true potential.

After:

With the addition of the side return extension, the kitchen has undergone a complete metamorphosis, emerging as a spacious and inviting hub of the home. Natural light floods the room, casting a warm glow on the sleek cabinetry and modern appliances. Ample storage solutions keep everything organized and clutter-free, while the expansive countertops provide ample space for culinary creativity.
