"Looking forward to attending the PCD Isle of Man 2026 networking dinner and conference on 6 May.
It’s always a strong forum for bringing together professionals across real estate, tax, finance and structuring, particularly with the international element that runs through much of this work.
The agenda this year includes a pre-reception panel on UK real estate trends, followed by the main networking dinner. A good opportunity to reconnect with existing contacts and meet others working across the same space.
If you’re attending, it would be good to connect while we’re there." ~ James John

Last night, James John had the pleasure of attending a special Self Storage Association UK - SSA UK dinner to bid farewell to Rennie Schafer, who steps down after 12 years as CEO — and to welcome Simon Forrester, who now takes the reins.
Rennie’s leadership, dedication and advocacy have helped shape and strengthen the self storage sector across the UK and beyond. We thank him for all he’s done and wish him every success in his next chapter.
A warm welcome to Simon, whose experience and energy will no doubt bring fresh ideas and momentum to the role. We look forward to seeing where the sector goes under his leadership.
Here’s to the future of self storage — and to the people behind it.

Whether you’re a landlord, homeowner or property investor, now’s the time to pay attention. Arjun breaks down:
- What the new EPC system means
- Why poor record keeping could cost you
- How to future-proof your property portfolio
Spoiler alert: keeping your boiler receipts might just save you thousands.
Read the full article for insights and tips that could make a real difference.
