Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form of hyaluronic acid. It appears in most modern skincare formulas. Rarely with an explanation of why.
One molecule binds up to 1000 times its own volume in water. Published research confirms it hydrates both the stratum corneum (the outer barrier) and the dermis (the deeper structural layer) simultaneously. That matters for male skin. Thicker dermis needs hydration that reaches depth, not moisture that sits on the surface and evaporates.
It appears in both the Hydrating Face Serum and the Mattifying Moisturiser. In the serum, it works alongside Chlorella vulgaris and saccharide isomerate to create a hydration system that operates at multiple depths. In the moisturiser, it locks moisture beneath the matte finish.
One ingredient. Two products. Hydration from the surface to the structure.
Every ingredient has a defined role.
