Help Impact Trustee Julia Kozlova recently visited John Radcliffe Hospital and was deeply moved by the profound impact Rosie’s Rainbow Fund is making through their music therapy program.

During her visit, Julia witnessed how the therapy brings joy and comfort to children of all ages, including a 13-year-old boy recovering from spine surgery. The music therapy sessions not only lift the children's spirits but also provide them with a vital sense of independence and confidence in a challenging hospital environment.

Help Impact is thrilled to approve a second grant to Rosies Rainbow Fund to continue their wonderful work.

Kudos to Kate for not only finishing Royal Parks Half Marathon last weekend but also raising £430 for our Guatemala project. These funds will help provide vital support to isolated rural communities in Guatemala.

Dasha is one of the beneficiaries of Help Impact grant for physical rehabilitation for adopted children where the parents are unable to privately pay for the treatment.

The center has rooms for ergotherapy, psychological work and physical rehabilitation, equipped with everything needed. A kitchen space is used not only for food preparation but also as a training station for children to learn how to do basic everyday tasks such as making tea, washing dishes, using cutlery, etc.

Both individual and group sessions are aimed not only at physical and psychological rehabilitation of children, but also at helping them and their families to adopt to real-life challenges.

Please donate to help us support more children like Dasha!

Each year Lighthouse Charity (Детский Хоспис Дом с Маяком), a Russian NGO, supports about 1,000 families facing the critical illness or loss of their children. The goal is to help families live happy lives full of love and moments of joy, despite their children’s illnesses, and to make sure that no child suffers from pain or loneliness.
Families who are willing to transfer critically ill children to their homes are supported with necessary medical equipment, training and medications. Unfortunately, many such families do not have cars and their terminally ill children cannot sit, therefore they struggle to attend essential medical appointments on their own. Lighthouse Charity runs a number of specially equipped ambulance cars, which are used to get children, including bedridden ones, to their appointments.
Last year Help Impact were happy to award a grant to Lighthouse Charity to fund a purchase of an ambulance car and portable ventilator. A ventilator will be used and reused by children, who require support to breathe.
