Team Get Involved
Established in 2015, Team Get Involved (TGI) is a professional sporting organisation delivering services in Physical Education, School Sports and Physical Activities. We believe that sport is a powerful catalyst for children to cultivate discipline and life skills. Our goal is to use sports as a tool to engage and help develop the next generation, with education in sport and health. Sports has bee
School teaches group work, of course, but sport forces you to read the room fast. We once watched a shy Year 5 child become the unofficial leader by week three, simply because the coach made space for small wins.
The benefits aren't just about fitness. πThere is something quietly soothing about a clear set of rules and a place to put your energy.
Even the child who is not naturally sporty can find a perfect rhythm in warm-ups, drills, and that final game where everyone is laughing at the same time. π€ΈββοΈβΉοΈββοΈ

It is amazing how quickly a school day can flip into an evening.
One minute you are hunting for a lost water bottle at the gate, and the next you are negotiating snacks, homework, and that glowing lure of a screen.
But 3pm has a secret power. It is a hinge in the day.
π Turn it one way: You get sofa sprawl, fizzy moods, and scrolling that somehow lasts forever.
π Turn it the other way: You get movement, chatter, and a child who comes home a bit taller somehow.
The benefit of an activity straight after school is that it interrupts the screen habit before it even begins, helping them stay more settled for homework later on.

Today, these Year 3 & 4 students arenβt just walking to a tennis court; they are stepping outside their comfort zone and into their first big Red Ball competition.
We know that true strength isn't about the power of your swing; it's about the grit to try, the respect you show your opponent, and the confidence to find your own flow. π§ β¨
They are capable, they are prepared, and they are already winners for getting involved. π

Big dreams start in local parks. π³π
Standing at the start line of a major event can be intimidating, but our kids proved once again that they belong right there in the mix.
At Team Get Involved, we prepare pupils for moments like this every week in our PE and extra-curricular sessions. We teach them pacing, resilience, and the confidence to stand tall when the crowd is loud. π€ΈββοΈ
Every lap they run after school leads to major milestones like this. This is where the hard work pays off! π
