We believe young women suffering from dyspareunia shouldn’t suffer in silence. Mothers and their bodies need to be looked after just as much as their babies do after they give birth and they shouldn’t have to live with ‘broken’ bodies just because they birthed a baby. You can still have the wildest sex of your life in your 50s and there is no need to ‘put up’ with the physiological side effects th

And just like that we have another wonderful pelvic health physiotherapist joining the LETO team in Queen’s Park!

A mother of two, Karin’s passion for pelvic health began after her own experience with birth injury and traumatic birth. Following a career in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she has specialised in pelvic health for the past seven years.

Karin is passionate about supporting women at any stage of their life in their pelvic health journey, ranging from young adults suffering from the debilitating symptoms of endometriosis, women who just had a baby, and menopausal women to ladies in their nineties seeking support on how to manage the discomfort of prolapse.

Through her experience working at the King Edward VII Hospital, one of the most renowned hospitals in London for gynaecological care, Karin has gained extensive experience and knowledge in gynaecological postoperative rehabilitation, including scar management. Karin is Pilates-trained and also specialises in the management and rehabilitation of chronic pelvic pain, including vulvodynia and vaginismus.

Karin is currently undergoing training in the highly specialised field of pelvic physiotherapy for children and adolescents. This area, often shrouded in stigma, is one she is passionate about raising awareness for, with the aim of supporting more families in the future.

Karin divides her time between a two-day-per-week clinic at LETO and running the pelvic health physiotherapy service at King Edward VII Hospital.

When not working, Karin can be found dancing away in the kitchen to the tunes of Matilda with her two daughters. She has always loved hiking and swimming in nature as much as enjoying a good brunch with a glass of rose in hand with friends at a London rooftop bar!

Welcome to the team Karin, we couldn’t be happier to have you on board!

And for all you NW ladies, Karin is available from this week onwards in our Queen’s Park clinic on Thursdays and Fridays 🌼

As pelvic health physiotherapists, and health & exercise professionals, it is our responsibility to provide the best care possible for postnatal mothers to make a meaningful impact for positive change.

We believe in the power of “small pebbles make for big ripples.” When we educate a woman about her body, this knowledge can extend to her friends, children, and their children.

As we lead up to International Women’s Day on the 08th of March we will be focusing on diastasis recti, a topic that can cause many new mothers much concern. We are also thrilled to be participating in a webinar tomorrow on this topic with Nancy from

The current status quo is no longer acceptable. We must do more.
