My dearest Mariazinha,

I’m writing to tell you something you may already know, deep down in your heart full of invented worlds: we did it.

Not all the dreams yet. Not all the versions of life you drew while looking out the window, wanting to fly away and embrace the whole world at once, but we achieved a lot!

You went after the magic. You crossed fears, oceans, farewells, beginnings. And, yes… you discovered worlds you swore only existed in your childhood dreams.

And to realize that it was precisely your curiosity, your innocent way of asking “what if?”, your courage to want to do, and the beautiful habit of believing in the impossible, that brought us here.

It was your heart full of unicorns, adventures, and possibilities.

And I want you to know how proud I am of the adult Maria we are building. Proud of our courage, our audacity, our ability to keep dreaming.
