💙 The face behind the name 🧡

We’ve had lots of new swimmers & followers join us recently, so I thought it would be a great time to say Hello & (re)introduce myself!!

I am Jessica, Water Babies Franchisee for Dorset and Salisbury. Here I am with my husband Steven and daughters Esme and Darcey on a cliff edge in Bristol!

We used to be a military family and found Water Babies whilst living in East Yorkshire when Esme was a baby. Whenever we found out we were moving on, Water Babies was always the first place I phoned to book lessons in our new location! It was a great way of making new friends wherever we went.

Steven and I have owned the franchise for nearly 5 years now and running a business through a pandemic was certainly not something we envisaged happening but here we are two years later and still going strong, just with a few more wrinkles!

I work in the office most days so I may speak to you on the phone but you will also see me out and about at pools meeting and greeting and at our underwater photoshoots.

I am very proud of what we do at Water Babies. I know what a positive impact it had on us when our girls were little and to be able to offer that to other families makes me happy. I only wish my two were young enough so I could still take them to lessons!

💙Announcement 🧡

Following the announcement in England over the weekend, as of tomorrow we are asking that all adults return to wearing a face covering while in the changing rooms/corridors or spectating on poolside, unless exempt from wearing one.

Your safety, as well as the safety of our staff is and always will be our number one priority. That’s why it's so important we do our part in preventing the spread of coronavirus.

💙Do not attend lessons with COVID-19 symptoms (high temperature, a new continuous cough, a change to your sense of smell or taste).
💙Sanitise your hands upon entry and as regularly as you can.
💙Spectators - if your venue is allowing spectators that’s still ok so far BUT THEY MUST WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES.
💙Arrive at your class “pool ready” to enter and exit the premises as quickly and efficiently as possible.
💙Bring your own changing mat from home to avoid having to share.

We will be working with all of our pool operators on an individual basis and will keep our customers informed of any specific requirements at the pool you swim at.

As we have done throughout the pandemic, we continue to work with our National Governing Bodies and Local Authorities to assess the situation for our classes.
