took over Selby Boxing Club and we captured every single second of it.
Haze on the floor. The ring in the background. Multiple FX9s locked and loaded. A camera track eating up every angle. And the kind of rock music that hits you in the chest before you even see the band.

Some locations just hit different. 🥊🎸
We took over a real working boxing gym for this one — the ring in the background, flags on the walls, wooden floors and that unmistakable grit. The kind of space that gives your music an edge before you’ve even played a note.
The crew showed up ready. We’re talking multiple Sony cameras including the FX9, a drone flying indoors for those insane overhead shots, smoke, lights, the lot. The energy in that room was something else — part rock gig, part fight night.
This is what Version Live is all about. Finding the locations nobody else thinks of, and making something that actually looks as good as the music sounds. 🎥🔥

Stephen on the FX6 with a Sigma 35-600, working the long end at a West End cabaret show we filmed for . Get close without getting in the way. The performers never know you’re there.

That’s the jib going up. Cables everywhere, crew finding their marks, light already fading outside — and we’re still getting the rig through the door.
This is what it looks like when you decide to shoot a full studio session in a 400-year-old barn in the middle of the countryside. Wouldn’t have it any other way though.
