This is a clear and blatant breach of BS7671 Regulations, specifically Regulation 464.2 (Isolation for Mechanical Maintenance) Regulation 301.1 (Equipment Selection) With such a high risk of escape of water, the well positioned extension lead (not) has the potential to cause harm to life.
