I occasionally dip my toe into say, a landscape, only to find it empty without human beans in it. I want to capture the moment, that quirky mannerism, the hunch of the shoulder, the rolled foot – whatever it maybe, I see it, and see it as a painting. Sometimes what I’ve seen is obvious in the image, other times it’s about my imagination – having guessed at the persons background or thoughts at tha

We managed to scoot down to Chichester today, because I've really, really been wanting to see exhibition 'Mothering' before it ends this weekend.

And Im SO glad we made it. I was bowled over by the warmth and tenderness in all her work - and jealous of the scale!! Fabulous.

I completely get why this show has garnered so much attention, and, as ever, so grateful to and the gallery team for staging another epic show.

And of course the William Nicholson delivered too!

Happy day 😊

Just finishing my little pic for this years which is happening in the Hague, Netherlands, benefitting those affected by Alzheimer's through art.

These guys rock! Its always a great iniative to be part of. Founded by artist and author - I was over the moon that he chose my work to feature in the 2023 edition. Plus in the blog on their website you can find an interview with me.

There's still lots of time to register if you want to take part. Register by 6th April, and deadline for artwork to arrive is April 13th. But I'm hoping I can get mine there by 9th March to be included in the printed catalogue 😊, which is fabulously produced, and available for pre-order now! Just saying....

Huge thanks to this years curator who will be working her socks off for us all, as all art is shared across the socials, and there's a physical exhibition June 6th & 7th, followed by online sales from the 10th.

Do take part if you can - spread the love ❤️

We had such a fun afternoon yesterday. in Mayfair for an afternoon of brilliant live Motown, and then a DJ. It was all a bit beautifully nuts. We managed a little bit of sketching but spirits were high, and spirits were flowing, if you get my drift, so no one was sitting still at all. Instead everyone was up boogying, including me 😁
