Great to see Trish Wylie in the studio preparing for her new show Dagger Trees and Easy Rider 🌵🏇

Opening on International Women’s Day, 8–15 March, 11–5pm at ASC Studios HA0 1QL

Expect a bold celebration of female power, freedom and the wild energy of the Menopausal Cowboy.

Plus, a great interview by Lee Sharrock exploring film, feminism and the fearless spirit behind the work.

Repost from

Shining a brightly coloured Spotlight this week on British artist and painting Elizabeth Power, Championed by the Founder of 99 Projects, Frances Casey.

First connecting over being working mothers, the duo related over making space for creative projects whilst also raising their children. The brightly coloured and dream-like nature of Power's work lets the viewer escape into a warm summer's day or fall into the nostalgia of a holiday. Champion Casey describes Power's extraordinary ability to use colour to transport viewers to worlds that oscillate between the real and imaginary.

Power's artwork is currently displayed in her solo exhibition 'Coastal Calm' at 99 Projects in North London until 23 April. Casey curates exhibitions with a focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and authenticity. 99 Projects is committed to an inclusive art world experience democratising and showcasing diverse and innovative artist practice.
