The workplace has changed dramatically over the last decade.
For years, office design prioritised efficiency, functionality and corporate identity. Today, expectations are very different.
People are increasingly looking for workplaces that feel more human - environments that support wellbeing, collaboration and a better day-to-day experience.
As a result, the lines between residential, hospitality and workplace design have become increasingly blurred.
It's a shift that's changing not only what offices look like, but what people expect from them.
The way people define luxury living has changed.
Today, it's not just about the apartment itself. It's about everything that surrounds it.
Echo Brickell was designed to bring hospitality into everyday residential living, creating an experience that extends far beyond the front door. From thoughtfully designed amenities to shared spaces that encourage wellbeing and connection, every element was considered as part of the overall lifestyle.
It's a reflection of how residential design continues to evolve - where the best developments create experiences, not simply places to live.
One of the most overlooked elements of great design is atmosphere.
It's not something that can be added at the end of a project. It's created through every design decision - from spatial planning and natural light to landscaping, shared spaces and the way people experience a place throughout the day.
At YOO, we believe the best developments are designed for longevity. Places that continue to feel relevant because they prioritise how people live, connect and experience their surroundings.
When outdoor spaces, thoughtful planning and wellbeing are considered from the very beginning, the result is more than great design; it's a place people genuinely want to spend time in.

The line between hospitality and home is becoming increasingly blurred.
Today, people want more from where they live - spaces to connect, unwind, socialise and spend time beyond their own residence.
The strongest developments recognise that lifestyle isn't separate from residential living. It's part of the experience.
Across YOO projects, community, shared spaces and everyday experiences have long played a role in shaping places people genuinely want to be part of.
Atmosphere doesn't happen by accident.
Every element of a space contributes to how it feels and how people interact with it - from layout and flow, to materials, lighting, colour and texture.
Across YOO projects, design goes beyond aesthetics alone. It's about bringing together the elements that shape how a place functions, feels, and ultimately connects with the people who use it.

We're proud to share that TEMBO, our first product collaboration with Australian bathware brand , has been nominated in the Design Anthology Readers' Choice Awards.
Inspired by quiet strength and designed as sculptural objects within a space, the collection explores the relationship between architecture, materiality and everyday living. Every bath and basin has been crafted in reclaimed marble to create pieces that don't simply sit within a room - they help define it.
It's a natural extension of the YOO design philosophy: creating spaces where every detail contributes to the overall experience.
