Royal Mail recently confirmed that only 76.5% of 1st Class letters and parcels arrived within one working day, including Saturdays, in the year to March 2025. The target for 1st Class post is 93%.
Even after 2 working days it failed to meet this target, with 92.3% arriving within that time.
Furthermore, 92.2% of 2nd Class mail was delivered within the target of three working days, falling short of the 98.5% target.
