Many hair colorants contain ingredients that can cause an allergic reaction. PPD is the most common cause of reaction to hair colour. To reduce the risk of users experiencing a reaction, many manufacturers of hair colour recommend the use of an Allergy Alert Test before their product is used. How to allergy test 👇
We’ve made the switch to for our allergy testing, and here’s what you need to know:
All new and existing clients must be re-tested if you haven’t already done the new skin test. The good news? This one-time test covers all our colors, so no more yearly retesting!
Order the test straight to your home to skip the extra salon visit (remember to allow time for delivery). We also have some tests available at the salon for your convenience.
Instructions on using the app and patch can be found in our highlights. Please allow up to 96 hours for the test to be carried out.
